New to CBD? Start Here.

If you’re new to CBD it can seem like a confusing subject to navigate!
In this short guide, we've answered the four most common questions people have that are new to CBD.

1. Which Strength Bottle Should I Buy?

We sell two different strengths of CBD, 5% and 10%. Simply put this relates to how much CBD is in each bottle (i.e. 5% pure CBD with 95% hemp oil). As you would expect, 5% is the weakest strength and 10% the strongest.

Simply put, if you have never taken CBD before, start slowly with a lower dose (one of our 5% regular strength bottles) and build up from there.

If you want to know more, Understanding CBD Strengths explains in a little more detail and outlines which bottles are the best value.

2. What is the Best Way to Take CBD?

The fastest way to get CBD into you system is to take it sublingually (under the tongue). This way CBD can enter your bloodstream directly within minutes rather than hours.

If you ingest your CBD normally it can take longer to get into your system, it can take hours depending on when you last ate.

3. What Dosage Should I Take?

The dose you take will depend on which strength CBD Oil you buy.

Dosage for our 5% Strength Bottles:
1000mg / 20ml Bottle - 5 to 10 drops, two to three times a day.
500mg / 10ml Bottle - 5 to 10 drops, two to three times a day.
Do not exceed 50 drops per day (70mg CBD)

Dosage for our 10% Strength Bottles:
2000mg / 20ml Bottle - 4 to 8 drops, two to three times a day.
1000mg / 10ml Bottle - 4 to 8 drops, two to three times a day
Do not exceed 25 drops per day (70mg CBD)

4. Will CBD Make me High?

The short answer is no.

To explain a little further the cannabis plant contains many different compounds of which CBD is only one. One of the other compounds is something called THC and THIS is the compound that creates the high.

When we extract the CBD from the cannabis plant we ensure that there is zero traceable THC in your final bottle of CBD Oil. Rest assured, CBD on its own cannot make you high.
